For the third year in a row, on July 22-23rd, 2017, I am riding in the Cycle of Life Tour, presented by Think Communications. I’ll be riding nearly 200km over two days in support of hospice care.
Hospice care is an under recognized service that relies largely on funding by community donors and fundraising events. Their services are essential and include end-of-life palliative care, counselling, bereavement support and at home patient care for individuals of any age with a terminal condition.
I’ve promised to raise at least $500 and I need your support! With our pledges, the Cycle of Life Tour has the potential to raise over $100,000 to keep hospice care in motion.
Thanks to the Cycle Life Tour’s incredible sponsors, every dollar raised will stay on Vancouver Island to support local hospices.
You can visit my personal fundraising page using the link below to pledge and to find out more about the event.
In addition to direct fundraising through this effort, I am also very pleased to be able to contribute to Victoria Hospice, as a social enterprise partner of North 48 Bicycles. Once you have donated, please take some time to visit the Social Enterprise page located here North 48 Bicycles Social Enterprise (not to mention browsing the rest of the North 48 Bikes.com site).
Thanks for your support,
David
